Vasiliki Prestidge presents at the CIOL Conference

Vasiliki Prestidge is due to present at the Chartered Institute of Linguists’ (CIOL) Conference 2021, coming to a Zoom near you this Thursday 11 March.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the current climate, this is set to be the first exclusively online CIOL conference, so all attendees and experts will be able to participate from the safety of their own homes, wherever they are in the world.

The conference sessions will be delivered by experts in their fields and cover translation, interpreting, education, business and much more.

The conference is taking place across three days, Thursday 11, Friday 12, and Saturday 13 March 2021.

Vasiliki will be giving a rapid-fire 40-minute presentation of honest, down-to-earth advice and tips on how to start out as a translator. The presentation will cover everything from getting your first client and breaking the no-experience barrier to marketing, business plans, cultivating your inner entrepreneur and developing a mindset for success. Prepare to come out of it energised, motivated and ready to put everything you’ve learnt into practice.

Don’t forget to bring your questions!

This is guaranteed to be a highly informative few days, so make sure you’ve booked your place!
