Coronavirus - what if the post office closes?

Here's a frequent question I get from clients these days:

"What if the post office closes because of this Pandemic?

How can I receive my certified translation?"

Answer:

In these uncertain times, we all worry about different things.

I run Greek to Me Translations in a way that best responds to your worries and ensures a continuous service to you.

For the time being all post office branches remain open. In case of closure, there are other alternative courier suppliers which may remain open.

Furthermore, an even better and environmentally-friendly alternative would be if I only send you an electronic certified translation.

This can be either a scanned certified translation or a PDF signed digitally. These will still carry the translator's certifying statement, contact details, date and signature.

Many authorities in the UK accept these especially when the certified translation needs to be submitted electronically anyway as part of an online application process.

For example, if you are applying for settled status, or citizenship, or passport, many of your documents will have to be submitted electronically anyway.

Thank you for your understanding and continuous support.

Greek to Me Translations remains open and here to help.
